The man in the hat

Originally from Zimbabwe, Tim is a 3rd generation farmer. For 25  years he owned an operated a grazing dairy . Working with nature instead of against it, Tim has won awards for his sustainable and organic farming practices and quality of milk.  Pasture raised cows produce milk that is very high in nutrients,  vitamins, Omega 3 and conjugated linolaic acid.

HOW WE GOT STARTED


In the Spring Mother Nature provides the perfect environment for herbivores such as deer, cattle and sheep to give birth and raise their young. The grass is tender and dense with nutrients allowing pregnant mothers to restore their body resources and prepare for nursing young. Microgreens, tender, young vegetable seedlings contain greater amounts of nutrients and health-promoting micronutrients than their mature counterparts. Some varieties of microgreens contain up to 40% more nutrients than adult vegetables. It is these health benefits and the desire to incorporate more greens into our diet that prompted me to start growing microgreens for our family.
